Genburn sells advertising space. It does not sell placement in the tables.
20 paid spaces·$2,500 a month·results never for sale·every price links to its source
The panels down the left and right are paid. Anyone can buy one, including a vendor we list, and a company we have never listed. A space carries a name, a logo and a link. That is all the money buys. An empty one shows its price instead of a customer, which is how you tell them apart.
No one can pay to appear in a table, to move up in one, or to have a competitor removed. The order comes from the numbers and from the rule printed next to them. There is no paid tier and no promoted row. A vendor who buys a space gets the space.
Paying us changes none of it. A sponsor is read from the same page, by the same two passes, and their number lands where it lands. They correct it the way everyone does: by sending us the link.
Where the evidence allows it, genburn also answers which model to use for the job you described, and the page carries the label genburn says use this. That answer is a ladder: genburn steps down a rung only when the one above has nothing to say. No one can pay to be chosen, on exactly the same terms as the tables.
The evidence is a public arena where people vote without knowing which model made which result, at an address you can open. A vendor's page, an article, a signed panel: quotable, never decisive. An arena that has not measured a model is silent, and silence is never a verdict against it.
For photorealism genburn reads the photorealism board. A model can be ahead overall and behind on the job you asked for.
No date means unknown age, and unknown age carries no weight. Past 60 days it has expired. Unknown age closes only with a floor: a board that ranks a model released on a known day was updated at least that day. Verifiable, not estimated.
Arenas publish a confidence interval. If the leaders' intervals touch, the measurement has declared a tie, and genburn does not break a tie on taste.
At equal measured quality genburn points to the cheaper one. Price never enters before the measurement, and never overrules it.
With no verified sales channel genburn steps down to the first that has one, and says so. Where the channel is verified but the price has not been read twice, the page names the model and says the price is missing. It does not print a figure we cannot stand behind.
2.0 is not 2.5, and a family's video model is not its image model. A score never travels between versions, and neither does a price.
Reviewed after 30 days, dropped after 60. A new model ships every month, so a two-month-old board is not a weak source, it is a wrong one. When a choice expires the page goes quiet on its own.
This is not a review and not a ranking: genburn does not generate images to judge them and does not vote. Each choice on file records which of these rules produced it. Think one is wrong? Tell us which rule, and why.
We write to vendors to say we list them, to ask about a price, to tell them these spaces exist. Write Do not contact in the subject and we stop. One message, no reason needed, and we do not ask again. Your prices stay listed either way.
